E10 petrol is the new 95 with up to 10% v/v ethanol. The good news is that it is more environmentally friendly, the bad news is that not all cars are compatible. This is not only confusing for car drivers, but also users of vessels, motorsaws, snowmobiles, motorcycles and lawnmowers. E10 compatibility should be addressed to the dealer or importer. At least users of Fiat, Ford Mondeo, Lada, Lancia, Lexus, Mercedez AMG models, Opel 2003-2007, Toyota Avensis, Volkswagen should check carefully if their car is compatible with E10.
